Blog Post/Ramble 4-2-2024

I'm still figuring out how this site editing stuff works. In the meantime, I'd like to ramble about video games (expect a lot of this from me).

I've been playing a lot of Monster Hunter this year. Mostly fifth generation, but I've dabbled in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Since we still don't know anything about Monster Hunter Wilds, I've been thinking a lot about what kinds of crossovers I would want to see in the game. Here are a few of my ideas:

• Puss in Boots Palico costume
• Bring back the Hatsune Miku Hunting Horn from Monster Hunter Frontier. And while we're at it, can we get the Neon Genesis Evangelion costumes back? Please and thank you.
• Dungeon Meshi content of some kind. I don't have any specific ideas, but you can't tell me Laios wouldn't be in heaven if he got isekai'd into Monster Hunter.
• Kirby weapons!! There are so many possibilities: Galacta Knight Lance, Dedede Hammer, Bandana Waddle Dee Longsword, Susie Hunting Horn, Morpho Knight Dual Blades. Not to mention Kirby and Gooey as Palico costumes!
• This one's a pipe dream, but Bionicle would be such a cool crossover. Imagine a Kopaka Charge Blade, Lewa Switch Axe, Gali Dual Blades, etc.
• Deltarune!!! It's one of my all time favorite games and I would be SO happy if it got a MH crossover. I know it's unlikely, but a girl can dream. My main ideas are a Kris-themed Sword & Shield and a Susie Switch Axe. I'm sure I could think of more if I wanted to.
• Last but not least (for now), a Hunting Horn based on the Mother series would make me unbelievably excited. Imagine if it played different Mother songs depending on the notes, like Sanctuary Guardian, Strong One, etc. I just think it would be really cool :D

I'll figure out how to finish making my website later. For now, I hope you liked listening to me go full autism mode :P
